I normally don't say much about the dogs we put on the testimonial pages. They speak
for themselves. The owners send them to us and ask that we show them. For this I'm grateful as any breeder/owner/importer
naturally would be. York is an exception though, just as his owner, Trine is.
York is a litter brother to my dog Vix (located on our Stud dog and Announcement pages)
Trine, is a stubborn young lady. She loved the beauty of the GSD,but was warned by everyone (in the service dog
business) not to get a German shepherd of any kind for a service dog.
I won't go into the details of why Trine needed a Service Dog, that is her business. It was touch and go for her
at first. There were difficulties and once I even took York back here and kept him for a week until Trine made
necessary adjustments to her NYC apartment and herself. Trine is fortunate enough to have some very good friends
that care deeply for her and her well being.
Trine even takes York to the Boston area in the summers and has a friend there with working dogs that has helped
her train York in Sch work. He expressed his liking enough that he wanted to breed York to some of his working
line bitches (don't blame him, York is quite handsome).
Living with York hasn't been easy. York is very protective of Trine, especially in her apartment. On the streets
of NY city, he is as outgoing and properly complacent as any service dog is supposed to be allowing people to approach
him and be petted. While
we are proud of every dog we have imported and or bred, I can take no credit for what Trine and York have accomplished
together. We are proud and humbled that Trine asked us if York could grace the pages of our website. The little
girl with York's head on her lap is not Trine, just a friend

Hi Pat, Hi Frank!
Just a quick note about Reese's training ........ he's being crosstrained for wilderness AND urban Search and Rescue......I'm
his handler so I have lot's of training to do myself ..... FEMA tests, field tests, etc.

First I have to get my SAR Tech II certification, then he can test for his K9 Tech II certification, so he probably
won't test until late this year or early 2011. He's been doing GREAT with his field training. I read that having
a parent with Schutzhund (spelling?) level III training (which he has) makes for a better SAR dog - and that's
proving true!
His enthusiasm, drive, and overall aptitude are VERY apparant at training sessions! He's so wonderful - I call
him "bulletproof" ........... great with people, kids, cats, other dogs ....... and he LOVES his SAR
training! I'm hoping to take him all the way to SAR Tech I. It will take time and lots of work, but word on the
"street" is that he definitely "has what it takes"!
Thanks so much for such a wonderful dog ....... I'll keep you updated on his SAR training and development.

Hey, Mom and Pop, look at me! I made it all the way to Seattle, Washington!
They have a BIG yard, a kid and other dogs that like me to play with.
They call me Aslan the King, after the lion in Narnia; something about how I remind them of him and how regal he
was.
Hugs to you,
Aslan

Dear Mr. Tate-
I am sure you remember me ... how could you not, my names is Lola-Lo/Lowki depending on which one of my personalities
has made an appearance and I want to know why I am not on your web site. I am byfar the prettiest dog you have
ever bred and deserve a front page placement. I am everything one could ever want in a dog. I am smart, logical,
playful, loyal and above all absolutely beautiful. Sometimes (okay more often then not) people even stop my Megan
and I to inquire about yours truly. They usually want to pet me, but who knows where there hands are so I only
allow it for only a brief moment before I turn the other way. This plush coat is nothing short than a gift from
God, like I would allow some street walker to get it all greasy...They bore me, as if I need to be told I am a
great specimen. They use juvenile words like cute, puppy, adorable but they are so wrong. I am distinguished, phenominal,
a true intellectual, gorgeous, and at the very least I am "pretty". However that word seems such an understatement.
Anyhow ... I do love you, but my new life is fab! I travel around, I stay in an unbelievably soft bed every night,
at times my mother has to go to the guest room because I like to stretch out, but I
do get bored all alone and slink in with her long after she has dozed off. I have 2 step sisters and 1 step brother.
There is another one here who they claim is related to me -- at least the same breed, but she is nothing like me,
sure she is attractive in her own way. But next to me nothing compares, its not attitude, its truth. I have a great
fondness for water and boats now.
Momma Megan

Hi! I hope you are both doing well. I thought you would like to see the
latest picture of Copper. He is doing great and is loved deeply. He loves hanging out on the driveway now that
the humidity has died down a bit. He is great with the kids and loves lounging in the pool. This summer he did
great in the RV. We went cross country for six weeks to California. Copper enjoyed Yosemite National Park and The
Grand Canyon.
Hope all is well.

(I might add, this is Mike and Lynda's third dog they have purchased from us over the last 15 years!)

Here is Sabre she is great Thanks again.

ON THE JOB AND READY TO SERVE

Pat,
As you can see Nayla has made herself at home. Her and her Aunt Kira have become fast friends. Kira is very good
with her almost too good as she lets her get away with a lot. You were right about how she would
nurture the puppy. Kira treats her like her baby and is now known as the puppy hog. Always wanting Nayla to be
playing with her. Nayla follows her everywhere. As you can see she's also grown quite a bit. She's going to be
a great dog as is Kira and beautiful as well. Thanks and take care.

This is a good time to mention the news that Dori Evans and her 9 month
old dog Reese, out of Vix and Red Red Wine, have been accepting into training for their SAR title. Reese is only
9 months old! WOW! Great work Dori! York, owned by Trina Aschin, and on our testimonial page, was our first Service
Dog and perhaps its just a coincidence that a nephew of his was second.
While I would have loved to had a more contrasting background for him to
highlight his beautiful colors, it is easy to see why our animals can
blend so well into Mother Natures natural surroundings

We welcome home for Thanksgiving, Rob, another of our countries warriors. His
shepherd, is appropriately named, Maximus. That mean
looking Chihuahua is "Fang" and protects the two sleeping giants!
